Last week, two-year old Jahlie Clemens from the Bronx drowned in a swimming pool accident at the Sweetbriar Apartment complex in Manheim Township.

Police officials believe the incident was an accident but will investigate to see if charges need to be filed.

Members of Clemens’ family believe that he probably just slipped and fell in.  There were no lifeguards on duty at the pool.  Clemens’ cousin jumped in when he noticed the boy, but he was too late to save him.

Reporters attempted to contact the coroner for the results of the child’s autopsy but they could be reached.
